Job Description

Project Planning Engineer Job Description: • Assist/Develop the schedule process, system and procedures to support the Module Fabrication Execution Schedules. • Able to prepare S-curve and develop recovery plan • Monitor construction/Fabrication progress against plan and provide early warning of problem areas and trends to Delivery Manager highlighting deviations from the baseline schedule; • Review the planning and monitor progress on all aspects of the work including yard preparation, fabrication / construction, mechanical completion, integration, onshore pre-commissioning and commissioning, yard sub-contractor works and CONTRACTOR FIM Delivery; • Liaise closely with Project delivery, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and other support disciplines to ensure compatibility of schedules and verify that Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning schedules support timely delivery of drawings / documents, equipment and materials to meet Commissioning and Start-up requirements. • Review weekly and monthly progress reports for accuracy and provide feedback to the Delivery Manager • Track changes according to the change in project management plan • Measure project performance using appropriate tools • Manage and report changes to the project scope & schedule • Prepare summary status client reports • Assist in the preparation of Project value of work done and progress measurement information to meet internal and external reporting requirements • All other duties as may be reasonably requested by immediate supervisor. Requirements and Qualifications: • Shall have minimum 3 years site planning experience in Oil & Gas fabrication /construction industry. Preferably LNG Modules; • Diploma or higher Engineering qualifications or extensive yard based planning experience; • Good knowledge of the fabrication, installation and commissioning, preferably on fixed and floating production/processing facilities; • Have advanced knowledge and competencies in using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office software.
